my notebook cant login

my game hang when i was playing halfway and i removed the power plug and the notebook got switched off la. but when i reboot the comp, it says it nids to check the hdd and i didn't bother to look. when i came back and login, my stuffs were all gone except the games i've installed(i only saw those on the desktop). when i reboot and tried to login, it says 'The Group Policy Client service failed the logon. Acess is denied'.
can anyone help? -
XP or Vista?
If Vista, I think you go and hammer Microsoft for an answer.

i thought this one nids me to access to user accts when i logon?
now the prob is i cant login to my acct nor i have guest acct or anything to logon to windows leh. -
If it's Vista, I think you follow the instructions in the last reply of the link.
If it's XP, I don't know what happened. There's no such service as far as I know of. -
mine is vista. but , the last reply says tt i have to login to User Accounts in the control panel. well, how to do tt?

hmm, for those facing this problem and can only login to 1 user acct, here's how to solve the problem.
restart the com, press f8 and go into safe mode, login to the acct and then create a new acct and del the old acct. -

and yes...vista has this login to 1 account user function which is pretty stupid...
