touchpad problem

  Uninstall all Sony utilities, then download the latest utilities and reinstall back.
  
  And check with Sony that the Fn + Fx button doesn't disable the touchpad. It happens for Acer, so I'm not sure if it's the same for Sony.

  Oh ya, what did you do to trigger this problem?
  
  Is the laptop in standby or hibernation mode prior before this problem?

  I was playing a game then i noticed that the touchpad got a little problem. So i thought a little restart will do a trick, but it didn.

  for the 2 utilities at the prev page, i did install them aready but to no use. and what's fx? there isnt a Fx key in sony.

  but if disable the touchpad, is it able to move from left to right?

  Fn is the function key...
  
  Fx is actually your F1 - F12 keys... x denotes the number...

  If touchpad is disabled, no sensing is enabled, the cursor would not move...
