question is...how much would we be paying for it?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070508-160mbps-downloads-move-closer-for-us-cable-customers.html
Starhub has successfully tested it. When will it arrive?
Anyway, I doubt it will be available for Singnet or PacNet... because it works with cable modems... which Starhub users are using.

thought they got free 100mbps modem le?Originally posted by coolgeek84:Starhub is another smart company.
Did you all know their about their MaxOnline 100Mbps free upgrade? It isn't actually much of a free upgrade. To use it you have to buy that over the top modem which costs more then 500 SGD. The current modems we have only support at most 33Mbps.
Like whats the point =/
I have no choice but to wait for the modem price to drop down. Till then I only have a 100Mbps connection for namesake and actually am just capable of 33Mbps.
Hehe.. No offense but there is no such thing as consistent broadband speed.Originally posted by FireIce:consistent or up to??
