GOD DAMN I NID SOME URGENT HELP HERE.........
WHEN I PUT A PRINTER INSTALLATION CD IN, THE LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING AND IT DOESN'T RUN. WHEN I CLICKED ON THE CD ICON IN MY COMPUTER, ITS TOTALLY EMPTY MEANING ITS NOT READ. THE DISK IS FROM ACER AND ITS NOT NON-COMPATIBLE OR PIRATED. PLS HELPPPPPPPPP -

the same thing happen. its not my first time installing it. becos i reformat com lots of times alrdy then suddenly like tt. i also dunno y this happens i realli nid help damn it

Just go to the printer manufacturer's website and download the driver.

Read the freaking manual please. If it says install drivers before installing printer, then do so. Otherwise, nothing will work. If it says plugged in printer, restart PC then install drivers, then do so. If it says plugged in printer, install drivers and restart PC, then do so.
Also, since the disc is from Acer, it means it has to be installed on the Acer PC which you bought. All drivers are freely downloadable from the printer manufacturer's site if the disc doesn't run.
Any other issues, please post back all the steps that you've done, right from the start to the end in order. Also state your printer model. -
its not the freaking prob wif the manual! other disc also like tt some sort of setting gone wrong tt's y cannot run the disc!

How about other discs? Can they run?
And download the drivers from here:
http://www.canon.com.sg/
Select Support and Download from the top.
In the new window that opens, select Inkjet Multifunctional Printers.
Select imageClass MPC190 from the drop-down list, then select Drivers radio button.
Click Next.
In the new window that opens, select the correct driver.
If you are using XP SP2, select the first option. XP SP2 and below, select the second option.
Click on the I Agree - Begin Download link. -

ok erm it says there to wait for the hardware wizard to appear but it doesnt anymore becos juz now i accidentally clicked do not prompt. now what shld i do cos it says there the wizard is needed

wth the cd cannot run and i dunno y so they asked me to dl the driver frm web and i did but now the hardware wizard didn't appear maybe becos i clicked on do not prompt accidentally juz now..and now my printer port cnt be detected!!!!!!!!!!!
