Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.62.1.
when i type in my IP Address, they say that the page cannot be loaded
i type in XXX.XXX.XX.X in the address bar.
can anyone help me?

1. start>run> input: cmd hit enter. it opens cmd prompt 2. input: ipconfig/all 3. copy the address on the line with Default gateway. 4. paste it on the browser address bar.

you manual got write. i'm not sure whether the same as mine ornot. the default one for mine is :
user: admin Password: admin

Most Linksys routers have no username. If manyu's one doesn't work, try the one without password.
Password is still admin. Some Linksys passwords are administrator.
