I'm new to laptops and just got myself a Dell Inspiron 510m
All is well except for something which I see as strange but may in fact be normal!
So I have noticed that sometimes my battery LED will flash as if the battery is charging but windows and the BIOS indicate the battery is at 100%. Any idea why this might be happening?
Evrything else seems normal, the laptop is working fine, the battery is maintaining its normal charge and the laptop works just fine when running on battery power only.
This "problem" cropped up again this morning as I was using my laptop even though the battery stated 100% charged.
Any comments would be welcomed so I could put my mind at rest.
You might want to check Dell's laptop user manual for explanation of the flashes. It might mean it's full and asking you to remove the power or other things.
