Device Disconnecting and Connecting Hanging System

  recently hor got device repeatedly disconnecting and connecting (from wad i hear) and the whole computer will hang there for a minute. its very frustrating..
  
  anyone has any idea wus going on?

  my comp. my modem suddenly dono what disconnected then cannot connect.
  
  is it cos of this virus aplle.exe or something liddat. my comp very effed up right now.

  What kind of device? If it's router/modem, it's pretty common.

  thing is i've no idea. i juz hear the ding-ding sound, and the computer hangs for a while, after dat i will hear the device connecting again. same sound when u connect an usb device.

  Hmm... couldn't be Infrared or Bluetooth, their sounds are different.
  
  Are you using a USB mouse or keyboard or any USB devices? It happens to some USB mouse, though I have no idea why. As for other devices, no idea. Never seen this happen before.

  Did u actually connect/disconnect something ?
  
  Could be a virus if you didnt.

  ok ill try disconnecting the mouse/keyboards from usb and use serial instead, and see how.

  Internal or external hard drive?
  
  If it's internal, there will be more hints of what is going on. If it's external... it could well be the external hard disk that has problems, especially USB devices. The system sometimes can detect then can't detect.

  ok i've unplugged my external harddisk but it doesn't seem to be the cause..

  ok problem solved. its one of the internal drives, but i do wonder why cuz i already disabled it.
