after reformat

  I just reformat my comp and here are some problems.
  Thanks in advance
  
  Questions:
  
  1.) Why no sound and why cant be adjust?
  
  
  
  2.) Why I scroll down my screen, i can see lines and it's slow. why?
  
  3.) How to reformat without using Window Cds?

  i have the same prob as no.1.
  
  my speaker sometimes can be adjusted , sometimes just can't.
  
  must be cos of a virus.

  1. Are you using an on-board sound or external sound card?
  
  2. Same question as above, but this time for graphics card.
  
  3. Currently, Windows doesn't support using USB devices to format and install Windows. The other alternative is to use a network installation and is commonly used in big companies.

  1.) i didnt buy any sound card. last time my bro said its device manager(I duno at where in the comp) and he fix the sound for me before. his busy working so i didnt ask him.
  
  2.) Before i reformat it is ok, my graphic card is only FX5500.
  
  3.) that time i went to sim lim, he refomat infront of me. but still i dont know
  what he click and reformat without CD

  Hmm...
  
  1. Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices
  
  Select the Audio tab.
  
  Under Sound Playback, click on the drop-down list. If there are more than one devices listed, select the other and try. Click Apply.
  
  Select the Volume tab. See if you can adjust the volume.
  
  2. You will need to install the graphics card drivers. Windows only provide the basic drivers needed.
  
  3. Hmm... I see this before, but it's for branded PCs. They have a hidden partition, which when you click on a file, it will auto format and install Windows for you. Not too sure how it works for DIY PCs...

  Either you don't have administrator's rights or some of your settings in your PC is haywire.

  after reformat, u got reinstall ur drivers anot?

  pop in your motherboard utilities CD...and install any missing drivers
