  X and Y coordinates are your barriers.
  
  Levels you set yourself.

  I don't specialize in developing games... it's just a rough idea...
  
  You will need a pen to draw it...
  
  Then some codes to determine that keys are being pressed
  
  The specific codes I can't remember, it looks like
  
  e.KeyCode = Keys.Down
  
  Then the pen will be
  
  Public snake as Pen = New Pen(Color.Blue, 2)
  
  Then the X and Y coordinates for the food...
  
  Dim X as integer
  Dim Y as integer
  
  X = RandomNumber.Next
  Y = RandomNumber.Next
  
  Then you need to draw an area for it, so the computer will know when it touches the food
  
  Me.CreateGraphics.DrawRectangle(X, Y, 1, 1)
  
  Then need to draw some barriers and set the area... it will be your barrier... again, determine an area for it
  
  Lastly, set a variable for going to next level, not sure where should it be, because it needs to get values from the number of food it eats...
