can vcd be ripped?

  i was thinking to rip 1 of my vcd into my lap but dunno how any knows?

  If it's an old VCD and it can be played on PCs, just copy and paste.
  
  New ones, I don't know if there's copy protection.

  Yup.
  
  DVD can also be ripped... but chances are, it's protected.

  if VCD, most prob the file extension is .DAT

  u need a ripping program. copying .vob's direct only works sometimes.
