  Im thinking of upgrading my ram from 512mb to 1gb. Does this make my comp faster?
  
  Also, whats the cost of a "good" 1gb ram and how much of a difference does it make? What's good? DDR or SDDR or?

  There's no good or bad RAM, only working or spoilt RAM.
  
  Frankly, I have never heard of SDDR RAM, so I can't tell you what it is.
  
  SDR RAM - yes, heard of it, if that's what you mean.
  
  Since you want a fast PC, you won't be getting a SDR RAM.
  
  Also, your motherboard supports only DDR RAM... just get one of those.

  Do I get another 512mb or a 1 gb? Can they mix? 1 gb with 512mb or 512mb with 512mb or standalone 1 gb. Which is best?
