wireless mouse problem

  Hi guys,
  
  I just got a wireless mouse and keyboard from microsoft, and basically the mouse is giving me a big headache. Many times i tried to click(left click), but it just ignores me. When i click and drag it works, and basically, sometimes the left click is like disabled or something.
  
  What's wrong??

  Battery or the wireless adapter that comes with it is not in range.

  Its new. I just got it less than 2 weeks back.
  The keyboard and mouse is less than 1 metre away. Actually less than 20cm away.

  Must be battery lah.. Your wireless is using Radio Frequency I guess? If its using Infra (which can't be possible since its old technology and u bought it recently) then it should be in clear line of sight.
  
  Don't use those crappy batteries with no brand. Use the better ones like Energizer or Duracell and so on.. =)

  same as me go down and change a new one
  cos ms product got 1 yr warranty.

  is ur table metal? it affects the performance of wireless mouse from personal experience.

  but TS say he can click and drag. so maybe not battery? Check mouse settings first, try set to default. then press the buttons on the mouse and the receiver to recalibrate.
  
  I got microsoft wireless mouse also, recently the right click not so good. The button will get 'stuck' sometimes making it hard for me to right click. Have to smash it to bring it back to working order.

  i never buy wireless keyboard or mouse becouse all my friends having problems with it. So get wired
