gif image not animating

  when i view gif images in firefox and IE6, they are frozen like a jpeg , or any other still image, been like this for 2 weeks. older gif images still animate when viewed in windows pic viewer, but gif's saved in the last 2 weeks are still frozen when viewed on my comp.
  
  My OS is Windows XP, and recently installed programs include Leechget 2006, Realplayer 10 and Zonealarm Security Suite.
  
  Anyone know how to fix this problem?
