  can this laptop support games like maple story, counter strike, dota?

  it should support but what graphic card are u using?
  
  if u go for counter strike and lots and lots of other 3d games i suggest 1GB and better graphic card.

  i saw it at hardware zone so decided to ask. wanted to get it somehow. so was wondering whats Sempron and stuff. I'm only used to heard Ghz.

  You didn't list the graphics card.
  
  Also, AMD doesn't give the speed of their chips. Don't ask what's the speed, if you are interested, Google it.

  I've checked. X1600. Good enuff for alot of recent games, yeah, you'll be fine.
  CPU's at 1.8GHz.

  Just to add on, Sempron chips do not perform up to the advertised standards. And the 3100+ is released quite a long time ago.
  
  But for games like dota, works so long as you have an average graphic card
