  centrino or pentium is better? why some people say selling centrino laptop then the laptop sticker says pentium M? whats wrong?

  There's 2 Centrino, namely the single core and duo core.
  
  The single core Centrino is also known as Pentium M. On 1 to 2 years old laptops, you will still see this kind of specifications:
  
  Intel Centrino Pentium M 1.X to 2.X GHz OR Intel Pentium M 7XX Processor
  
  The newer types of Centrino, are all duo core.
  
  Specifications look like this: Intel Centrino Duo Core 1.XX to 2.XX GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 1.XX to 2.XX GHz
  
  Most companies now offer Duo Core laptops, so it no longer says Pentium M. If you see a Pentium M, it is most likely a single core chip.

  Duo increases efficiency with 2 chips I think. Mine clocked speed on one site shows 3.14Ghz with 1.82Ghz chip ?

  im talking about the normal centrino which now i know its also called pentium M. Hmm, can centrino aka pentium M laptop play games like dota or counter strike?
