Acer laptop issue

  I understand that if laptop is in a environment with high temperature, it will shut down automatically, same applies to desktop.
  My Acer 5673WLMi will shut down automatically after running high end games. It is each time I felt heat coming from the cooler.
  Now I am running a low-end game, Counter Strike. It will shut down after a while and it is pissing me off seriously.
  This is just one problem.
  Another one I encountered is that sometimes,when my laptop starts up,the cooler will give off loud disturbing noises. I suspect its the problem with the fan but I don't think anything will be stucked inside the fan. Any ideas ?

  Dust your fan... if enough dust is collected, it can heat up quickly.

  I have to say there are no dust. I think overheating is a common issue with this range of laptop. But noises, ?
  I can bear with the overheating part,but its just that when I run CS it will close by itself after a short time even when the laptop is not heated up.

  Hmm... you have to bring down Acer for checking.
  
  Most of them who reported this problem had their motherboards send to heaven..

  if u know how to make ur own way to the cooling fan inside the laptop, u can use a small brush and brush away the dust collected. if not, get someone professional to do it. if nt, to monitor the situation, d/l notebook hardware control to monitor the temperature. if u dont bother to settle the problem, u can lower CPU processing speed, so it wont heat up so fast, or dont heat up until it restarts itself.

  You mean replacing new motherboard ?
  And do I have to pay for that ?

  Update : Scanning on Acer's website and it seems that I may be eligible for the battery exchange programme. Wow.

  If warranty has not ended, then you can get them to check. If the motherboard is found to be faulty, then it will be replaced for you FOC.

  Yes, it has not ended.
  From what I heard in HwZ that this particular model tends to overheat..
  But no signs of breaking down suddenly. I am really getting fcuked up.

  Most probably its an issue with the heatsink on the graphics card. The thermal grease connection must be very bad hence, heat is not being conducted away and hence on overheating during games (gpu overheat).
  I have opened up my Acer laptop before completely to the core to spray paint before and I know how "little" grease they put at the gpu and heatsink area..
  Bring it back and tell them its the graphics card problem most probably.
