Linksys wireless modem cannot connect to internet

  I installed the pre-set settings given by Linksys in the installation CD for Singnet, ,installed the software but it cannot connect to the internet at all? With no light (usually if there's a connection failure it will show a red LED)
  
  Checked the username and password many times liao
  
  Something wrong with settings?

  Many times le, still cannot sia, anyway where can i buy singnet's official thomson wireless modem? funny thing is hello shop near my house not selling

  change to Belkin router, cost about $65

  Hey is ur VCI/VPI settings correct? They should be 0/100. Sometimes some routers put some other default values.. Also which encapsulation are u using? PPPoA over VC works for me..

  In Singapore it's PPPoA. PPPoE will not work. This setting killed my connections.
