A habit of not switching off for weeks will heat it up... so it's the fan that is working too hard.

Can u locate teh sound where is it coming from. Last time my lappy also like that. The HDD getting faulty le like the comments above mine, pls backup data immediately

when press one, the hd will make noise, like engine running...
then when close to loading into desktop, the sound softens...
