modem crapping.

  green light indicates its connected.
  
  network connections indicates its connected.
  
  after a few minutes or up to 1 hour of usage , net connection will die off.
  
  is it cos of modem or virus. cos if its cos of virus i dun wanna disappoint my dad.
  
  he wanna buy a modem before GST hike. so if he buys a new modem and the problem still persists.. .. .. knowing my father isnt "rich".

  Whether or not it's due to virus, I have to clear your PC first to find out. If you don't want to wait, you can reformat and reinstall the modem drivers to find out if it's really due to the viruses.
  
  Looking at how badly infected your PC is, chances are it could affect your internet connections.

  will have to find a way to reformat sooner or later. i dont have the xp cd.

  get ur hands on Windows2000...no need to constantly validate...but of course its not the latest OS.
