i received an important email but its in chinese and when i opened it, all i saw were symbols. what can i do??

Can go to the toolbar and click on view and than click on Encoding, after that, click on chinese simplified...

i haf NJstar chinese. i tried ur method of encoding and chinese simplified but this time all i can see was complicated chinese words. there were still some symbols

sorry I don't use hot mail... if you really so desperate, forward the mail to me and I convert to pdf for you.

I use gmail and if you like, I can give/recommend you a gmail account..

If Chinese Simplified doesn't work, use Chinese Traditional.

the mail from which country? If HK/Taiwan change encoding to Big5.

hotmail doesnt really support chinese characters well.

I would suggest forwarding the mail to gmail and read from there.

Simple. On internet browser change encoding in view option to chinese traditional or simplified.
