Need help

  I currently bought a hp a6098d desktop (comes with window vista home edition), but recently i discovered that whenever i run any programs especially when surfing internet explorer my HDD used space will increase...
  I haf tried scanning it using anti-virus, window defender and even spyware but to no avail... nothing is found by the first 2 software but spyware do detect some adware which i have deleted it.. but the problem still persist...
  Can i haf the advice of the experts here? will greatly appreciate that..

  Clear the temporary files.
  
  Other than that, I don't know what is eating space.

  did u check whether u enabled the use of the remaining space in ur HDD to speed up ur com? (although i dunno whether that function is available)
  
  EDIT: ok i found it liao
  right click on My Computer > Properties. A window will pop up.
  on the left panel, click Advanced system settings > System Properties window will pop up > on the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings > on the Performance Options window, on Advanced tab (again), under Virtual memory, click on Change > there u can change it, it's Automatically manage memory paging file size by default
  u might want to change it

  i doubt so.. but how to check for that? my com is 4g ram...
