i went to BIOS to change the date and time during startup. after starting up, it will still remain at 2007 but after a while, it will jump to 2099.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:It's not a virus, but a problem with your hardware. The wrong time and date wil cause your antivirus to shut down. You might need to buy a new battery soon.
Also go in your BIOS to check that the date and time is correct.
Sometimes a reformat and reinstallation of Windows will solve the problem. Back up all your files before doing so.Originally posted by Vanquish:i went to BIOS to change the date and time during startup. after starting up, it will still remain at 2007 but after a while, it will jump to 2099.

Then monitor if the clock keeps changing itself.
If it still does, it's your hardware that's facing problems, nothing to do with viruses.

This tool will remove the virus that infect your computer.
On the motherboard itself, there's a battery, which keep tracks of the date and time.
Here's how you change it; it differs from motherboard to motherboard.

It removes viruses spread by an external USB device, such as your thumbdrives or external hard disk.Originally posted by Vanquish:what will the flash disinfector do? any thread on it? thx
