help on muvo

  why are some of my files on my muvo are disappearing?

  You sure you didn't put them in some other folders? A lot of people have this problem.
  
  Plug it in to a PC, see if there are other folders. Put them back into the main folder which Creative plays the songs from.

  Disappearing as in? I assume the player is not able to read some of the files...
  
  Try not to create too many sub directories in the muvo. It may cause slow seeking or incomplete seeking.
  
  And use their recommended filesystem format for muvo. (I think it was ol' FAT)

  Creative is using FAT system...
  
  If you ever plug it into a PC, did you safely remove the device?
  
  If no, that explains the corruption of files.
  
  Otherwise, it's just the way FAT is. Files in FAT corrupts pretty easily, even when proper procedures are followed.

  yup.. i did properly remove them
  
  but for a whole folder to go missing, isn't it abit too much?

  No. As I've said, the FAT system is very susceptible to corruption. It doesn't take anything to trigger it. It will corrupt on its own, without warning.
  
  Recover whatever files that you are able to, do a full format (not quick format). After that, move back all your files to Muvo.
