64 bit or 32 bit

  Hmm Just got A New Laptop, then when I was booting up, there's an option to choose Turion 64 X2 (64bit) or Turion64(32bit) or something like that so which one should i choose?

  Depends on your hardware. If it's able to support 64-bit, then boot up to that, otherwise, the other option.

  it's a 64 bit system, but i am afraid that some programmes might nt be compatible

  64-bit OSes usually will support 32-bit applications.

  Most 64-bit systems are able to handle 32-bit programs... but some won't. The reverse is not true.
