video card spoilt?

  uing xpertvision 8500GT sonic... worked fine for a few days an then i get
  artifacts in the black boot screen when u power on the PC...
  
  then get "stop" (blue) error...or sometimes can go until desktop and while installing drivers it restarts itself again and again..
  what happen?
  
  sometimes during driver install , get a NV4mini_sys need to be installed from winxp CD or driver cabinet...
  
  help...

  Looks like the memory chips on the cards are corrupted. Same thing happened to my X1950pro.I went back to the distro and they said the memory chips were corrupted.Suggest you bring back to convergent for them to check.Their RMA service are very good.
