Cannot view friendster profile how?

  I received this message when I log in to my Friendster...
  
  So how? Oh by the way, did all of you received this too when you log in to friendster?

  Confirmed to be Friendster virus.

  Follow the above link to remove the virus.
  
  Your best bet to remove the virus is to use another browser. Don't use IE, because it works in IE.
  
  After that, do the following:
  
  For Windows XP users
  
  1. Go to Start > Run and type in notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
  
  2. Add the following lines in:
  
  127.0.0.1 getitrightnowonline.info
  127.0.0.1 sitejmp.info
  127.0.0.1 adjmp.info
  
  Save the file.
  
  For Windows 2000/NT users
  
  1. Go to Start > Run and type in notepad C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\hosts
  
  2. Add the following lines in:
  
  127.0.0.1 getitrightnowonline.info
  127.0.0.1 sitejmp.info
  127.0.0.1 adjmp.info
  
  Save the file.
  
  For Windows 98/ME users
  
  1. Go to Start > Run and type in notepad C:\WINDOWS\hosts
  
  127.0.0.1 getitrightnowonline.info
  127.0.0.1 sitejmp.info
  127.0.0.1 adjmp.info
  
  Save the file.

  yay thanks for the link and the solution.. but technically the worm didn't do anything to our computer except to edit the friendster profile page code right? I don't really have to do the hosts file thing rite? It just does nothing except redirect those URLs back to my own comp so that the virus cant "work" rite?

  Yup, it just edits the Friendster's profile page code.
  
  Well... for those who find it irritating, can just do the Hosts file method. It doesn't really guarantee anything; there are more than 10000 infected sites out there which infects Friendster. Too long to list and will take too long to compile.
