is the trojan really clear?

  l tio a trojan when l was surfing net...l use sogou mah..but strange lehz..l never click anything..l see a extra webpage wif chinese words...asking me to wait..then l noe sumtinz wrong le...close the webpage and then my avg prompt me wif a virus alert...threats detected..
  
  then l press heal and it goes into my qurantine ..and l juz empty it...so mayi do l hav to do anything else le...the trojan clear already?

  If it's a temp file... then it's most likely cleared... but I can't be sure. Nowadays the patterns are changing. Viruses are loading via temp files...

  OK, we still with Spybot first. Scan with Spybot first, remove everything found. Restart computer if needed. Then perform another scan.
  
  If it doesn't work, then we move on to AVG Antispyware.

  l scan, actually shld be nothing..but becos l go internet den thee are 2 cookies call avenue A, and Doubleclick...

  Tagsauras is just adware... does nothing except to bring popups. It's not a trojan.
  
  As for cookies, it's always present... as long as you surf the web.
