Website login information

  Hi, i was just wondering if websites store your login information(i.e sgforums login) by IP address or by your net browser's cache(FF's,IE's)?
  
  Lets say you "mooch" a security-free wireless connection and then log in to youtube for example,then suddenly after 10 mins to your youtube login your laptop lost connection with the particular wireless connection.
  
  So will the owner of the wireless connection,should he enter youtube,have access to your youtube account?
  
  Or is it by Browser's cache?

  By IP address. I don't recall any websites using browser's cache other than for exploit purposes.

  By cookies and session.
  
  When you login to a website it stores a random string (example: 89d01edf48df6e4d26e8459104442f17) known as a session id on your web browser.
  The session id is sent back to the website each time you visit a page on that website.
  In addition the website also stores the session id with your user id that you login with on the server side.
  
  Example might be:
