ok my friend wants to build a gaming com with a budget of 4k. he wants
+ Quad 2 Extreme
+ Crossfire or SLi GPU
+ DDR3 RAM
and comments and reccomendation for these and other parts?
I might expect it to hit over 4K due to the DDR3 RAM, which isn't so popular and costs a lot.
Given the specs, please remember to get more fans, and a power supply with at least 450W.

As far as I know, DDR3 is not offered in many shops.
DDR3 is fast, but it's latency is high as well.
It's like saying I give you $5 and you spend it away.
I can't really tell 4 months from now. There's no real way of telling. Although it isn't so new, not many motherboards support it yet.
