HELP

  hi people, recently i updated my AVG virus scan and it said that theres a trojan in my ARES. so i healed it and then now my ARES doesnt work which has never happened before.
  
  so then i downloaded the new ares version from the original website, and then i tried to reinstall it again and then the same thing happens. it says threat detected, TROJAN HORSE SHEUR.DKL. so if i heal it again my ares will never work.
  
  is this virus very harmful? or is it in most p2ps?
  
  does anyone have a better alternative p2p that i can use? please help.

  Ares needs that trojan to work, just like kazaalite did. Anything to an AV is deemed harmful. Ares needs that trojan so ares knows which files you're sharing. As you know P2P is all about sharing. If you don't share, what's the point of P2P?

  Uninstall your AVG, then reinstall ares again. If you insist on using an AV for your comp, hopefully you can override its command to quarantine that trojan.

  Either have ur AV or Ares
  
  Get another P2P application lor

  Tell AVG to ignore it. By the way, Ares is open sourced, I don't know what's causing AVG to prompt.

  yeah it never happens before, until recently i UPDATED my avg then i think it turned into some super saiyan mode or something then it killed my ares omg im damn sad. =(
