Printer problem

  My printer is epson cx3700. I've run out of colour ink. but there is black ink left. I wanted to print in black, and i have configured it to print black only. But i duno why cannot print. The "ink out" msg keep coming out and i cant continue with my black printing. Why is that happening? Is it i have to buy colour so i cn print black?!?!?!

  Unfortunately, the answer is yes. The printer doesn't differentiate between either.

  The cyan ink and magenta ink in your colour cartridge ran out. If your printer uses a 3-in-1, then I guess you will need to purchase a new colour cartridge (or get refill ink, an economical option), or continue printing yellow documents to make its worth. =D
