How do I install Linux over Windows?

I want to clear out my Windows by installing Linux, how do I do so? -
But that's for dual-booting rite??

Windows will do it nicely, because Windows doesn't like Linux. That is why for those who want to dual boot, must ALWAYS install Windows first, then Linux. Never the other way round.

Disadvantage - the lack of compatible programs. Also, for some programs, there's no GUI. You need to know command line well (aka Terminal, Bash or Konsole, depending on your Linux distribution). For some programs, there's no such thing as double click to install as well. You will install and compile it from source codes. -

If there's more than one OS, I suggest you just take the Windows disk, delete all partitions there, create new partitions and install Windows. -

i trying xubuntu 2nd time but now it takes already 2 hrs and stuck at the partition set up -
