Installing Windows - Error?

  I've been trying to install from my Windows XP cd onto my laptop but there seems to be an error:
  
  Blue screen comes up with Technical Information:
  
  ***STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
  
  Cant install
  
  Now having Vista on one partition though...

  I remember little ant said before that Vista don't like you to install XP

  Old versions of Windows must be installed FIRST, before new versions of Windows.
  
  Never reverse, or else nothing will work. I think you are my live sample.

  Anyway I managed to get XP in now...the problem is...VISTA is like missing.
  
  Computer loads into XP without looking for Vista, even though XP is in D:/ drive o.O

  Ya... my live sample. I think if somebody wants to dual boot, I will show this thread... whatever that can go wrong.
  
  I think your Vista may be corrupted...

  Now my vista cant load...my XP loads from D (another pri partition) drive.
  
  I've got C (Vista), D (XP), E (Nothing), F(DVD-RW)

  I think your Vista may be corrupted...

  Another most important thing to note is to Parition properly first before installing XP.
  
  My XP got corrupted cos I had to mess ard to retrieve about 30GB of unallocated HDD.
