Functionality wise, they work the same. Power wise, 3.5" needs extra power. And not to mention, it's bulky.

The person who don't know how to make full use of either a 2.5" or a 3.5" is the lousiest.
I think the thread title should be praised as "the pros and cons of a 2.5"/ 3.5".

Iif only microdrives can hit the capacity of a standard 3.5" and affordable at the same time, versatile too.
