Basically, I need help for 2 situation.
My friend's XP Task Bar suddenly no longer display programmes / browers in used. Once the programme or browser is minimised, she'll have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to access Task Manager to switch programme. I've yet to visit her place to check the system and hence would like to check if there's any possible problem with the system? And if possible, I'll like to know any solution to the problem?
Secondly, my Firefox (Ver 2.0.0.6) is unable to access secured sites, such as DBS ibanking and UOB Group ibanking. Accessing starhub's e-store is also not possible. The problem I faced is, the browser will hang and firefox will ask me to close the browsers.
I've updated both the browser and Java to the latest and the problems persist.
Seriously need help with the above issues and any help is deeply appreciated.
Update: Firefox issue has been settled. Removed and reinstalled my Firefox to ensure that the problem isn't related to Firefox itself. Finally pinpointed it as a problem with a particular Add-On I've installed. Removed the add-on and restart my Firefox. Successfully solved the problems.
nt sure about the first part, but my firefox 2.0.0.6 can still access my ibanking..... think its jus u only....
Try re-installing your firefox.

but how about Start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore, restore it to the date before the problem occured?
