MSN virus?

  Anyone encountered MSN virus before?
  
  it goes like this, just now, a friend sent me a link through MSN, i click on it and aftet that my MSN keeps on logging off claiming someone is using my msn on another location, i restarted laptop, log in into MSN n some of my friends received the link also..
  
  my qn is is my comp infected with a virus because of this? i m running spybot now.

  Search the forum. The fix is posted. Or go the Spyware/Adware Precautionary sticky and view the last page or second last page. The help is listed there.

  hmm ok actually my friend sent me tis link "www.msn-check-status.tk"....(dont click this link!!)....it claims to reveal who deleted me from MSN, n how stupid of me to actually try it n it actually works..
  
  after that my MSN keeps relogging , claiming someone using my MSN on another comp. then i reboot comp, log in n some of my friends complain they receive this link..
  
  other than this , my lappie seems norm.

  i cant seem to log in msn messenger ver.7, whereas i can log in my normal messenger.

  Hmm... you can try the fix first. It's always the links in MSN.

  erm for the possible msn virus, i dled msn cleaner n it said that no virus found..which means its safe?

  Sorry, miss your question.
  
  For MSN Messenger 7 onwards, if you don't upgrade, you will not be able to log in, unless you don't have administrator privileges to install a newer version of MSN.
