  I accidentally remove my audio program from my pc.
  Now I play music or video no sound...
  I try the troubleshoot and try reinstall without disk...
  But I failed...
  I got no CD how ler...

  wat sound card u got? go to the manufacturer website dl the driver lor.
  
  erm, jus to confirm, wat audio program did u remove?

  If your PC is not DIY, just go your PC manufacturer site and download the relevant drivers.
  
  If your PC is DIY, go to the Speed up your computer sticky first page and download CPU-Z, do a screenshot and post them here.

  well, u know if u r using onboard sound or frm a dedicated sound card? or at least wat motherboard u using? u can try dl a free program called cpu-z to find out wat board u using.

  instead of prntscreen, press f5, it will save a bmp file inside that folder.

  my guess is vista. might also be the problem cos his com is almost 7 yrs old and might nt support vista. ecs also doesnt provide vista drivers, only xp. that was for the xp one.

  jonathanhiew, download the latest drivers here: http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/DownloadFile.aspx?catid=1&driverid=1736&areaid=1&LanID=9
  
  Extract the contents of this zip file.
  
  After extracting, you will see 4 folders:
  
  1. Win2000 - This is for Windows 2000.
  2. Win98SE - This is for Windows 98.
  3. WinME - This is for Windows ME.
  4. WinXP - This is for Windows XP.
  
  Open the right folder. If you are using XP, open the WinXP folder.
  
  In the folder, you will see a file with this icon:
  
  Right click on it and select Install.
  
  Once done, restart your computer. Can you try playing your music files again.
  
  Also, make sure that your speakers wires are plugged to the green port, not any other colours.

  Check something
  
  1. Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices
  
  2. Select the Audio tab
  
  3. Under Sound Playback, can you please click on drop-down list and post back how many devices are listed there.

  actually, u sure the name of the program u remove was something ard sis.... ???
  
  cos the motherboard also has 1 other dedicated sound chip..... a 2001 version of AC'97.....

  hmmm. . .
  go start, settings, control panel, sounds speech and audio devices, sounds and audio devices.
  
  check the volume settings whether u muted or offed anything.
  go to the audio tab, then under sound playback, post here wat is ur default device

  1. Right click on My Computer and select Properties.
  
  2. Select the Hardware tab.
  
  3. Click on the Device Manager button.
  
  4. Click on the + sign next to Sound, Video and Game Controllers.
  
  5. Post back all the details below it.
