to me...a good IT support personnel needs to be
1.An Adrenaline Junkie
2.Willingness to learn
3.Good observation and troubleshooting skills
4.Good foundation in IT concepts like wireless...DNS...networking...VPNs...
5.Able to cope with stress
6.Good communication skills...
Add good patience and good humour sense. They will help you along a great way... frankly, without these 2, you will barely survive...Originally posted by Rockhound:IT lor...computers..

Wireless is a specialization of its own. Knowledge of networking is required to know wireless... because wireless networking branched off from wired networking. The concepts of wired networking applies to wireless as well. You will learn about wireless technologies in addition to networking technologies that you already know.Originally posted by Unidentified:IT range so big

And IT support including those hardware stuff ? i mean fixing/adding/removal of computer hardware
