Now, if wan to use back the things on your old computer, also can...USE back video card,use back hard disk(may be insuficentuse back cd rom drive(or buy the dvd combo at bout$35) only spend on a main board that can take in your grapic card,get man many ram,a fast processor..monitor also use back.
I can only help think by tis on upgrade, as your topic is"upgrade"meaning use back parts tat can be used..not overhual your computer.i feel jus by buying some other parts, your com already will feel powerful le.
unless u want to spend $$ on another set, then hv 2 coms at ome. -
Better you dont upgrade anything, just get a new comp.

1) But the i have no idea about the processor.
2) And also, can these stuffs fit into my comp safely? Compatible or not ah? -

PC used mostly for school stuffs and games. Im a sec 3 student.
Oh and i have like ard 10 windows opened. Consisting of IE and msn. -

have u considered getting a laptop? will save u a lot of trouble since u're not very familiar with hardware and such.. -

Ive already thought of my combo except for the mobo which i havent decided yet due to the discouraging responses.

proces: p4 2.8Ghz 100bux
if mainboard is 150bux, then total is 350 -

err.. ram of 512 going together with 256 grafs should be ok right? the mother board is the one that i dont know what to choose. Cos it must be compatible with the graf and proc and ram . -
