  it doesnt matter about the GHZ of the processor, it is about the tech.
  
  We RECOMMEND you to get a new fresh out of the oven computer. Even a lousy 1 simply triumphs over your current configuration. Just bring your current hard drive and see the price list for the cheapest computer. Then ask them to fix for you, test etc etc.
  dun bother to upgrade.Chances are they might be uncompatible, like ur gfx not AGP 8x compatible

  Ok i promise this is the last qn. For warranty for the individual components, lets say something happens to my PC. what shops provide doorstep servicing? As in they come to your house to help you fix your problem??

  depend on the shop,some very kind to come to ur doorstep the rest u must go to their shop/service centre.

  Of so many, I only that Phillips monitor company will do it. The rest, you need to send it to the service centre yourself.

  Are u a Starhub user?
  HP is selling off their old batch of Pentium D PCs for $500+ each.at least this is faster than ur current PC.
  
  Otherwise,if u buy online Dell has an entry level basic Pentium Dual Core(between core 2 and celeron) for 1k.
