i have this problem. i got another PC in another room which cannot connect recently.
my is singnet 1 MBps. how come sometimes i see the connection it put 48Mbps sometimes it has other value? i thought my is only 1mbps.
Anyway, how do i make my connection stable. Is it virus problems or singnet or others?
Wireless have a speed range of up to 11Mbps for 802.11B products, and 54Mbps for 802.11A/G products.
This is the speed within your own network, when you are transferring files. On the internet, the max is 1Mbps.
Frequent disconnections can be caused by interferences, connecting to the wrong wireless network, or something is blocking it.
The reciever on the PC may be too far away from the router to recieve its signal. Some routers have an option of adjusting its signal strength, so you may want to try that as well.
