yes i have some connection issues.. but its usually with the router.. so i use direct connection when im connected to this..Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:I see a few errors there:
1. Connections problems
2. The game program crashed
For problem 1, do you have any connection problems?
For problem 2, can you please check if there are any updates for the game and update it.
It's probably related to your problem 2 - your processor may be at fault. Is this processor using the Hyper-Threading technology?
I guess you got to change the way you connect your all your cables... getting a new router may help, though I don't know who helpful it is.Originally posted by aloof_guy:yes i have some connection issues.. but its usually with the router.. so i use direct connection when im connected to this..
fyi, my disconnection using the router is UNSOLVABLE.. no one can solve it. not even starhub's technician. they said it has to do with my internal cabling.. like yea sockets..
anyway, whts hyper threading tech? mines just a P4 3.0
sorry but lets devote this thread to dow.. kinda confusing u see heh.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:I guess you got to change the way you connect your all your cables... getting a new router may help, though I don't know who helpful it is.
Hyper-threading is a technology by Intel. I wouldn't explain it, too much to write. You will read this article instead: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1302
There are problems with hyper-threading, which I think your processor is causing. You have to turn off hyper-threading and try your game again to see if it crashes.
It can be done via BIOS (usually pressing the Del button after your computer beeps).
Navigate to Power Options > Advanced > Power On Options > Hyper Threading. Press the + or - sign to toggle it on and off. Change it to Off.
You will notice that it's slightly slower. Negative effects, I don't think so. So far, I've not encountered any that turned it off have much negative effects other than the speeds.Originally posted by aloof_guy:sorry but lets devote this thread to dow.. kinda confusing u see heh.
anyway i just read about hyper threading and i sorta understand it now..
but will disabling it make my pc much slower or have alot of negative effects?
