Anybody facing setting your homepage problem? I can't get it done. It always show the Speed Dial page.
My first problem with it. Overall, very fast. Faster than the other versions tested. -

Hmm a little risky, but you can try deleting the Opera profile from your Application Data folder and let Opera re-create it if this helps. If it comes to the worst, then re-install the whole thing lo.

Eh, Opera has the same URI vulnerability as Firefox.

Out of the 5, the URI that triggers Telnet works.
One of damn settings in Opera allows that and can't be removed. -
Remove unnecessary protocol handlers from Opera through Preferences > Advanced > Programs should do the trick.

Telnet is the only one that can't be removed. Even changing via opera:config has no effects. The rest has been removed successfully. Ha, I would see how Opera reacts to this.
Unregistering via Windows manually doesn't help too. -

Hmm but the telnet link doesn't seem to affect mine. Maybe it's because I'm still using IE6.

It only shows an error popup message "No hostname specified". So maybe it's IE7's fault?
Anyway, have you tried reporting this to Opera already? -

1. Open My Computer, click on Tools > Folder Options
2. Click on File Types tab
3. Look for URL:Telnet Protocol
4. Click on the Advanced button
5. Under Actions, what do you see? If there are actions there, click on the Edit button. Does it use DDE? -
