Cool. So it was my own security settings, but Opera reversed some of them. I had actually unregistered that particular protocol due to Firefox's vulnerability, Opera's settings are set to reverse it.
Hmm... their installer will need to do extra checking. -
By the way, someone did some tests and showed that Opera 9.5 is the fastest browser now!

Opera 9.5 is the fastest no doubt. But it loads websites a bit slower on my side. Some sites that used to be slow are faster there, some sites that used to be fast are slow there. -_-
Don't know what caused the reverse. -

opera is def faster than FF, but more problems with flash, and online streaming for videos and such

how come i use opera to visit some sites the icons or buttons are stacked i tried to change the view/style/author mode all those it get worse when i change to user mode.

It's probably a rendering issue, especially when you visit a site that only supports IE. It usually will render correctly in IE, but in other browsers, it will give you funny stuffs.
Changing to whatever mode usually won't help. -
i see.. Like that must go back to firefox liao.
