  1) card is faulty,
  2) insufficient power supply, or
  3) ask mayi

  Its a lousy graphic card anyway, thinking of replacing it. So what do take note when buying graphic card ah?

  Check whether:
  1. your motherboard supports AGP or PCI-e graphics card
  2. your power supply unit will be able to handle your new card
  3. card performance vs budget
  4. after deciding on one card, google its model number to see if there is any positive/negative review about it

  i've had this same problem too. after that error my comp screen will go into an auto sleep mode. no matter what i do it doesnt go back. i changed to graphic card but the problem still isnt solved.
  
  maybe its the power supply..

  Oooo... I got this sporadically with my comps. Could be due to overloading of gpu(i kana one serious 1 with THIS comp FX5500, old i know...) playing C&CTW Demo.
  If you encounter it "normally" frequent, then it's ur driver's fault. Then there's oso those given above...XD
  Which format is ur gpu btw? Card or intergrated?
