Last chance... might not work. Download a Live Linux distro and boot up to it. Plug in the MP3 player and see if it is detected. If yes, you can try and recover the files.
Knoppix is recommended as it can "see" Windows partition.
You can transfer those files via Command Prompt in Knoppix. I think the command is copy.
For more help, type in copy --help. Note that it's two dashes (-)
good luckOriginally posted by DjMatrix:i will try this tml, i duno how to do it so need to ask IT dept help
How are you going to open that when you can't even the MP3?Originally posted by euc:Actually, its due to a .ini file that was created inside your mp3 player. It disables opening or give error messages depending on how it has been modified. Lucky yours is not xbox 360, if you have IO error, your xbox will have the three rings of death.
Happened many times to me.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:How are you going to open that when you can't even the MP3?
Can you stop using colours that provide low contrast against the background? -_-Originally posted by euc:Happened many times to me.
What I did was search for a file that is inside ( die hard 4.avi)
and when it show up in the search results ( H:Movies\diehard4.avi ), I right click and choose 'Open Containing Folder'. From then on, I click up, up and deleted the ini file.
