  Maybe he means setting the "Look in:" option to My Computer and search? But wouldn't that take like slightly shorter than forever if your hard drive(s) is/are damn filled?

  its shows no device detected.anyways i dled this pinform recuva program which will help to recover frm c drive hope it works

  Your image shows "Removable Drive (F" which means it is detected on your com. But for his case, the com doesn't even recognize his drive. So I guess your solution doesn't apply here?
