Upgrading form Window ME to Xp

  I am now upgrading my com from ME to pro... i take freaking long and it keep going back to the same page of loading the devices.... is there sth wrong?

  well, if u can still post this in the midst of the upgrade, maybe there something real wrong.....

  Either the disc is corrupted or your hardware has some problems.

  If you got spare computer, try reformatting it with this disc to check if the disc is corrupted. If it can proceed with no problems, then it's your hardware problem. If it can't, then you have to buy a new CD. Or if this CD is a legitimate XP CD, ask for exchange. I think you can call up MS and enquire about that, I'm not too sure about their policies.
