No, it's normal. When you click on it the second time, you will have two setInterval()'s calling the function that calculates the new position of each image every 5 millisecond, thus the function is called twice every 5 ms instead, hence the rate at which it updates the positions doubles. So if you click it thrice, there will be 3 calls to it every 5 ms etc etc.
