What the fishmacnugget?

  Hi guys, i just bought a new graphics recently and manage to get it running on my comp.
  But somewhere, somehow after a while it will "Checkerbox-glitch" out and said that "ati2dvag.dll" got stuck in a infinite loop... What the... I tried all the solutions from ATI and powercolour itself (3 in all), but still will glitch after a certain while... I've used both the default ones (7.1), (7.2) and (7.8 ). Still no improvement... how? Anyone wanna share experiences?

  Compaq presario model SR1950AP
  P4 3GHz
  1Gb PC2-5300
  80Gb Ultra DMA
  X200 integrated GPU
  
  New GPU:
  Powercolour X1650XT 256MB
  clk spd: 594
  mem spd: 695
  
  Catalyst Version (i've tried):
  7.1(default) , 7.2, 7.8
  
  And it seems that FPS games(BF2, GRAW2) is more prone to spark the loop..... Meanwhile, i'll email AMD/ATI...... Thx

  nt sure if this solution will work for u...
  Right click-mouse over My Computer
  Properties
  Hardware(Tab)
  Device Manager(button)
  Click [+] next to System devices
  right-click on CPU to AGP Controller (or whatever your controller is called)
  Update Driver(button)
  
  Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)
  Next(button)
  Select, Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.
  Next(button)
  Select PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge (it might show up on urs as some other bridge or something bridge)
  Next(button)
  Finish(button)
  Reboot.

  Hmmm, thx, i'll try that next. But i managed to improve the problems when i force the games to refresh at the rate of my monitor... Do you think that it's something to do with the refresh rates going out of range?
